ARIA Awards String Quartet perform with Boy & Bear
Musical Functions String Quartet performed "Feeding Line" live with Sydney band "Boy & Bear" who on Sunday November 27th, 2011 won 5 ARIA awards - including BEST ALBUM 2011.
We also toured with the band and played two sold out performances in front of more than 4000 people at the Enmore theatre. Then to Melbourne at the Palace Theatre for more sold out shows.

Musical Functions Strings was to join Boy and Bear for the first time on violin and cello for ‘The Storm’. Soft acoustics rang out throughout the theatre, timed with deep and ominous vocals. You could almost see the clouds rolling in across the Enmore as ‘The Storm’ began. The crowd clapped in time to keep the sadness at bay while high pitched guitar and melancholic cello and violin acted as rain trickling over the crowd in purple and green light.
